The Fair Trade Commission is currently investigating both Sharp and Hitachi on rumors of price-fixing on LCD displays that are used in the Nintendo DS. So far, Sharp, Hitachi, and Nintendo have made no comment. This is going to be a story to keep track of. It could actually result in a drop of DS prices, all depending on the outcome Link
