You are responsible for the line-up, the tactics and the training of your team – as well as for signing the right players, improving the club facilities and the stadium. It is also important that you maintain good relationships with your players, the board, the sponsors and the press. But FIFA Manager 09 goes further. Managing your national team is one of the options, playing as a player manager is another one (in this case you can even control your player on the pitch). And then there is the ultimate challenge: Found your own club and work your way up the leagues to finally become Champions!

Hardware Requirements

* Supported software: Microsoft Windows 2000/XP (Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98/ME and Microsoft Windows NT are not supported), executable on Microsoft Windows Vista

Minimum hardware requirements:

* 1.3 GHz Intel Pentium III or equivalent processor
* 512 MB RAM, 1024 MB recommended (depending on the number of selected leagues)
* 64 MB (AGP/PCI-E), graphics card (for additional information on supported graphics cards, please check section 10)
* 4,500 MB available hard disk space 8x DVD-ROM drive
* DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

FIFA Manager 2009 Screenshots

Release Dates: 31 October 2008
Category: Sports
<!--

Celebrity Sports Showdown is not the worst game on the Wii, but its not a long way off. Only the SouthPeak Interactive crime against humanity Pool Party stands out as much worse than this, but by a lot narrower margin than any game should. I have resolved to go back to the local games emporium and see if I can instead give them 3 GBP to take this disaster far, far away.

In most parts of the world, the gaming industry seems to have problems. It’s not about losing focus and not being able to deliver games with a story to match the graphics, and it’s not about the economic problems, either. I think there’s a lot of trouble with governments trying to label games as evil, take various games out of the market, and so on, but - guess what? South Korea will become a new heaven for the gaming industry!

Just think about this, and we have a story already - according to Kotaku, “The South Korean government says they will invest 350 billion won in the computer game industry by 2012.” <-125x125 Button - right->The reason for such a juicy money input? Just because things are working properly, that’s why!

Same source says that the South Korean Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Yu In-chon talked on Wednesday about plans to take the gaming industry to a whole new level, since it already hit a billion-dollar export goal this year! Now, that’s what we can call “serious gaming,” don’t you agree?

Call it a crisis or not, but it seems that, with proper management, the world won’t go down. We’re only going through major changes, and best thing to do is try to understand what’s happening around us because, in a way or another, the gaming industry will pull it off, it only remains to be seen where will go all the money generated by it…

Over in the U.S., were more used to hearing stories of the government trying to censor video games. So hearing a story about Korea planning to pump billions of dollars into the industry seems like...

Over in the U.S., we’re more used to hearing stories of the government trying to censor video games. So hearing a story about Korea planning to pump billions of dollars into the industry seems like quite a feat, but that’s exactly what they’re planning. In a recent meeting, Culture, Sports and Tourism Minster, Yu In-chon, stated that the game industry had proved itself effectively as a future growth engine by reaching it’s export goal two years in advance. Therefore, the Minister has proposed a US$200 billion fund through 2012 for the games industry in order establish Korea as one of the world’s top video gaming countries, alongside the U.S. and Japan. Korea also hopes to expand its exports in that area to around 5 trillion won (about US$3.3 trillion) per year.

I’m actually surprised it took them this long to see video games were a good market for them to invest in. When your country starts televising Starcraft competitions and literally setting up compounds for gamers to train, that’s probably a sign that you should be paying attention to something.
