For those of you who don't know, Lego Indiana Jones - The Original Adventures - is a game where all the characters, vehicles, and parts of the environments are made of every kids favourite building blocks - Lego. A lot of us were first introduced to this concept with Lego - Star Wars, and the novel gameplay overlaid with the whole Lego thing provided a pleasant surprise to all but hardest of core gamers. Sony Pulls PS3 2.40 Firmware After Reported Problems

The release of PlayStation 3 firmware 2.40 last night seems to have caused a wide number of issues for those who updated to the new release. It now appears that Sony has since pulled the newest update, reverting back to firmware 2.36 as the most recent available version.

Sony are "Looking into it".

I've personally had no problems with the update and I'm loving the in-games messaging and trophy additions, but if you have had issues let us know.

Alone in the Dark Review

This is a hard review to write, because few other games have split the gaming community quite so much as Alone in the Dark. Sites that normally give generous scores are giving this game scores that are as low as three out of ten, while other sites (known for marking harshly) are giving it eighty percent. What kind of game is this? What kind of game would rate at two extremes of the scale and divide opinion at such an unprecedented level?

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 upcoming "fan pack"

Ubisoft have announced details of the soon to be released "fan pack". The downloadable content will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The new content will offer three new multiplayer maps and a new High Stakes setting that allows players to play their favorite online modes in an exciting new way. Best of all though, this new content will be available free of charge. Good stuff Ubisoft. More details after the break.

Legendary - Weapons Trailer

Remember when Turning Point copped a lot of flack for being not fun? The people behind it said that the title "gamers" should be excited about was Legendary. There has been a steady trickle of trailers over the last few days on Gametrailers.com and I have finally decided that I need to post up something about the game.

The game's title reveals a little of what the story will entail, all of the typical enemies and villainous monsters appear as your foes. The pace and setting definitely have me more interested than an WWII alternate reality story done wrong.
