Today Nyko technologies released a statement saying that their Wireless Nunchuck for the Wii had received a “Best of CES” award from the editors of CNET.

“The nomination for CNET’s ‘Best of CES’ award was an honor in itself, but taking home the award for the gaming category is an even greater privilege. Winning this prestigious award showcases how highly consumers and the tech community think of Nyko’s commitment to advancing gameplay technologies.”
I do have one question though… the “old” wired Nunchuck had the cord that tethered to the Wiimote. So now that this one is wireless what is keeping some overzealous gamer from hurling this control through the air? Is there going to be some sort of strap or other safety harness? Do we need such a thing? Should I stop typing now?
Let me know what you guys think about this latest “Wiicessory”.
