Bethesda has picked their favorites of the latest mods for Elder Scrolls games. One of the great parts of playing Morrowind and Oblivion on the PC is the ability to mod the heck out of your game.

This weeks mods include the lovely Lich Queen from Wildman’s Skeleterra mod for Morrowind with Bloodmoon and Tribunal installed. Isn’t she fabulous. Those of you that enjoy vanity mods there’s a new one from Plangkye’s Hilgya the Seamstress mod, which works with the Better Bodies 2.0 mod from Psychodog Studios.

There are several mods for Oblivion as well including an amusing game save with a character made to be the twin of Tamriel’s doomed Emperor Uriel Septim VII from slayer5801. It puts a whole new spin on the opening scene of the game. For more fun try Kirel’s Pimpwizard Garb mod, made for use with Robert’s Male Body mod. It goes nicely with the Talk with your hands mod that adds new NPC gestures into the game.

Over at the Oblivion Files you can find some cool atmospheric mods to improve the game’s immersion. Check out CptJoker’s Realistic Lava 1.3 to make the stagnant lava pools of Oblivion more realistic. The screenshots for Improved Trees and Flora 2 by Mikal33 are fantastic. I just hope they work with Quarl’s mods.
