I am always checking out stuff on eBay and while the majority of the time it is for old LPs and first and second edition books (yes I am dork) sometimes I venture over to the video game listings to see if there are any out of circulation PC games I might want to play. Usually this section of eBay is full of people trying to sell their Wii, PS3 or Xbox 360 for an exorbitant amount that borders on the obscene and incredulous.Today though, I found an actual STORE that was for sale. If you happen to have 90K just lying around or between the couch cushions, you could be the proprietor of your very own Game Exchange store in Pueblo, Colorado to do with as you please.
According to the listing the store makes approximately $60,000.00 a year with one employee, and included in the sale is every game, showcase, sign, register, fixture, display, rack, shelf, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, T-16, Gameboy GBC/GBA/SP/DS, PSP, Xbox and 360, Playstation 1/2/3, Wii, Gamecube, 32X, Jaguar, and everything else you need to make a go of it. Of course, you have to provide your own sense of smug satisfaction - that is not included.
Who wouldn’t love to own their own gaming store? Dare I say that this is every gamer American Dream? Maybe not, but just think of the big finger up the nose you could give to your friends and rivals if you were to actually be able to purchase such a thing. You might even get a girlfriend out of the deal - ladies like money ya know.
Check out the listing here.
