D3 making Matt Hazard gamepromoting it with fake Matt Hazard game history

Matt Hazard has never existed as a game property until just recently. D3 Publisher has trademarked ‘Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard’, the first Matt Hazard game to ever exist. So…if Mr. Hazard is returning, what were his other adventures? D3 is taking some big steps to make up a fake game history.

Matt Hazard now has a rich history of 16-bit glory-days games, including spin-offs that didn’t go so well. All of these fake games and synopsis are to help promote the Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard. Creating a fake lineage to build up a new character…that’s a pretty damn smart idea. People love to buy sequels, and if they think they’re missing out on a new entry in a classic franchise, they’ll jump in!

The only thing we are yet to learn is…the platform that Eat Lead is going to hit. It looks perfect for DS, Wii, or WiiWare to me.
