WiiWare Bomberman Screens, Details Revealed

Bomberman is about to let you get violent with your Miis.

Screenshots posted by Famitsu reveal that the upcoming WiiWare version of Hudson's Bomberman, Wi-Fi 8-Man Battle Bomberman (yes, that's the official title), lets you use your console's Miis in the game as playable characters.

Other than that, Wi-Fi looks, well, like a Bomberman game.

The WiiWare version of Bomberman will launch this coming June in Japan, but pricing has yet to be announced. The game will include a story mode, 2-8 multiplayer online support, online rankings, and five worlds that make up 39 different areas.

I absolutely love playing multiplayer Bomberman, especially Xbox Live Arcade's Bomberman Live, and so can't see how I wouldn't enjoy the WiiWare edition just as much (except that it won't be as beautiful as the HD version we get on XBLA).
