As part of their Weekly Update, Bungie has finally addressed the Halo 3 achievements rumor that sprung up during PAX, confirming that 10 new achievements worth an additional 250 Gamerscore will be added to Halo 3 as part of the (newly delayed) September 25th title update. Achievements that are mostly related to the Legendary map pack and a few 0 Gamerscore achievements that are "Vidmaster Challenges". Check the break for the complete list.
BUT there's one glaring mystery that isn't fully addressed, and that's the other mysterious H3 achievements that were photographed during PAX. In their update, Bungie does admit the 10 title update achievements "aren't the only achievements we're adding" but that "there's not a whole lot else we're going to say" regarding the other achievement content. Sneaky. Suspicious. Juicy.

So, we are guaranteed to get an additional 250 Gamerscore and 10 achievements for Halo 3 later this month, but we're still clueless to when or how Assembly will release, what all that Mythic talk was and why we can't haz Recon. Too many questions and absolutely zero answers.
